The short version
We started Verde because we couldn’t read the labels.
In 2017, Maren’s mother started taking CBD for sleep. The bottle on her nightstand had no batch number, no test date, no COA, and a marketing claim her doctor couldn’t verify. Maren spent six months calling brands, asking for lab results, and getting the runaround. Most never replied.
So in 2018 she and her partner Devon leased a small storefront on Pearl Street, sourced a single-acre organic hemp farm in Paonia, and built the brand around one promise: every batch we ship has a current COA on the product page. No old test results recycled across batches. No proprietary blend dodges. No claims we can’t back up.
Eight years later we’re still on Pearl Street, still single-sourced from the same Paonia farm, and the COA promise still holds. Every product page shows the batch that’s currently shipping, with the PDF one tap away.

Single-source from one organic farm
We buy from one USDA Organic farm in Paonia, Colorado. We know the soil, the grower, and the harvest window — and we publish it.
Transparent dosing, not marketing claims
Our Dosing Guide is conservative on purpose. We’d rather you find your right dose at 25mg than buy a bigger bottle on a guess.
