What we do

Six services. One NATE-certified crew.

A focused shop by design. We service and install heat pumps, AC, and high-efficiency gas furnaces—and we say no to work outside that lane so the crew stays sharp on the equipment our neighbors actually run.

How a service call works

One call. A truck on your curb. A flat-rate quote in your hand.

No time-and-materials billing. No surprise diagnostic fees. No upsell scripts. Every NorthPeak service call follows the same four steps—the same way our founder Tom ran his first truck out of Ballard in 2014.

  1. 01

    You Call

Dispatcher answers in three rings, day or night. We confirm zip code, equipment make, and the symptom in under two minutes.

  2. 02

    Truck Dispatched

Branded service van rolls inside 9 minutes for in-zone Seattle and Bellevue calls. You get a tech name + truck photo by text.

  3. 03

    Diagnosis + Flat-Rate Quote

On-site diagnosis is free with any repair. We hand you a written flat-rate quote before we turn a screwdriver—no surprise time-and-materials.

  4. 04

    Repair + 2-Year Warranty

Parts on the truck for 90% of common failures. Every repair carries a 2-year parts & labor warranty. Every install carries 10 years on the equipment.

Meet the crew

Five trucks. The same five faces.

We don’t subcontract installs. The technician at your door is on our payroll, drives our truck, and is the one who’ll come back in two years if anything ever rattles loose.

Real calls. Real receipts.

★★★★★
Furnace died at 6am with two toddlers in the house. Mike was on the curb in 22 minutes, had the ignitor in his truck, and we had heat by 7:30. Charged exactly what he quoted.
★★★★★
Got three bids on a heat pump. NorthPeak was the only crew who measured our ductwork before quoting and who told us the Energy Trust rebate would cover $1,800 of it. They were right.
★★★★★
AC stopped cooling during the August heat dome. Same-day call, capacitor swap, $284 flat. The tech wore booties in the house and actually answered my question about MERV ratings.

Frequently asked

What homeowners ask before they book.

Do you offer financing on new heat pump or furnace installs?
Yes. We partner with Synchrony and GreenSky for 0% APR over 12, 18, or 24 months (with approved credit), and offer 60-month fixed-rate plans on installs over $6,000. Energy Trust of Oregon and Puget Sound Energy rebates handled in-house.
What warranty comes with a new install?
Equipment: 10 years parts on every install we do (manufacturer-registered). Labor: 2 years standard, 5 years on Trane and Mitsubishi premium tiers. Annual maintenance is required to keep the labor warranty active.
Which equipment brands do you install and service?
Install: Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Mitsubishi, Bryant, Daikin. Service: anything anyone’s ever installed in a Seattle-area house. Our trucks carry universal parts for capacitors, contactors, ignitors, flame sensors, and inducer motors.
Do you answer the phone at 2am for a no-heat call?
Yes. The 24/7 emergency line forwards to the on-call lead. November through March we staff two after-hours trucks. There’s no surcharge for nights or weekends—same flat rate, same crew.
Do you offer free estimates for new installs?
Yes. In-home estimates for new install jobs are always free and always written—we hand you three quotes (good / better / best) with the exact equipment models and price spelled out. No high-pressure same-day-discount nonsense.
Do you offer a maintenance plan?
Yes—our PeakCare plan is $189/year and includes two visits (spring AC, fall furnace), priority emergency dispatch, 15% off any repair, and waived diagnostic fees. About 1,400 Seattle-area households are on it.
How long does a typical heat pump install take?
Most single-zone ductless installs are one day. Whole-home ducted heat pump systems are 2–3 days depending on electrical and pad work. We pull permits the morning of and schedule inspector signoff within 5 business days.
Can a heat pump actually heat my Seattle house in January?
Yes, and they have been doing it across Puget Sound for years. The cold-climate inverter systems we install (Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat, Daikin Aurora) deliver 100% rated capacity at 5°F and continue running down to -13°F. Most years in Seattle they never see freezing.
