Long-held floor postures with bolsters and blankets. Quiet music, dim light, deep release in the connective tissue. The least 'workout' kind of yoga we teach — and the most popular.
Long, supported holds. Bolsters, blankets, and zero hustle.
Restorative Yoga is the class people show up to skeptical and leave from wrecked (in a good way). Instead of moving through poses, you settle into them — typically five or six shapes over 75 minutes, each held for five to ten minutes with full prop support. Bolsters under your knees, blankets over your shoulders, an eye pillow if you want one. There's no athleticism here. There's barely any movement. What there is, is deep, parasympathetic-nervous-system rest. Most students fall into a half-sleep state and report feeling more rested afterward than they do after a full night in bed. We recommend Restorative for anyone dealing with chronic stress, burnout, insomnia, anxiety, or grief, and for anyone recovering from intense weeks of training, travel, or caregiving. Pair it with one or two Vinyasa or Hot classes a week and you'll feel the difference fast.
"I'd avoided yoga for years because I thought I had to be flexible first. The Beginner Yoga class at Stillpoint changed that in one session. The teacher walked me through every pose without making me feel like the only newbie in the room."
"I work 50 hours a week at a startup downtown and Hot Yoga is the only thing that consistently gets me out of my head. The Cedar Park studio is on my drive home and I've been going three times a week for a year."
"Found Stillpoint through their Prenatal class and stayed for the community. I made real friends here. My daughter is six months old and I'm back in Vinyasa Flow now."

Our practice
What happens on the mat is the easy part. What it teaches you about how to breathe in traffic, sit with grief, listen to your body when it’s tired — that’s the work. We try to teach the second one through the first.
Arrive 10 minutes early
Sign in, leave shoes at the door, choose a spot. Tea is on. No need to rush.
Borrow what you need
Mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps — all included. We have water and small towels.
Tell your instructor
Pregnancy, recent injuries, what you're avoiding today — share what's useful. We adjust the class around you, not the other way around.
Take what fits
Modify, sit out a pose, leave child's pose for the whole class. The practice meets you where you are. Always.
No pressure, ever
Mat, props, water, and a friendly face at the front desk. Walk in or reserve ahead — either way.
Come as you are
Reserve a mat for any class on the schedule. No card, no commitment. Mats and props included. We'll see you in the room.
