Six ways in. Same room, same kindness.

We teach a deliberately small palette of styles — the ones our instructors have spent years studying. Each one is a different door into the same room.

Our practice

A practice that follows you off the mat.

What happens on the mat is the easy part. What it teaches you about how to breathe in traffic, sit with grief, listen to your body when it’s tired — that’s the work. We try to teach the second one through the first.

  1. 01

    Arrive 10 minutes early

Sign in, leave shoes at the door, choose a spot. Tea is on. No need to rush.

  2. 02

    Borrow what you need

Mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps — all included. We have water and small towels.

  3. 03

    Tell your instructor

Pregnancy, recent injuries, what you're avoiding today — share what's useful. We adjust the class around you, not the other way around.

  4. 04

    Take what fits

Modify, sit out a pose, leave child's pose for the whole class. The practice meets you where you are. Always.

★★★★★
I came to Stillpoint after a long break from yoga, expecting to feel embarrassed. Maren put a bolster behind me in pigeon and I cried in child's pose. It felt like coming home.
★★★★★
Theo's hot class is the only one I look forward to. He sequences it like a piece of music — there's a build, a peak, a release. I leave wrung out and smiling.
★★★★★
I did the 200-hour training with Maren last year. The whole cohort still meets monthly. The training was the best money I've spent on myself in a decade.

Frequently asked

The questions students ask before their first class.

Is the first class really free?
Yes. Walk in, leave your name, take any class on the schedule. Mat, props, water — all included. No card on file, no upsell at the desk.
I haven't done yoga in years. Which class should I try?
Sunday Slow Vinyasa with Maren or any Yin & Restorative class. Both are slow, fully optional, and the room is filled with practitioners of every experience level.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
No — we have plenty of mats sanitized after every class. If you bring your own, there's a shelf for it. Bring water; we have small towels at the desk.
Is there a contract or membership commitment?
No contracts. Single classes are $24, a 10-class pack is $190, and unlimited monthly is $145. Pause anytime. We bill manually each month, not by auto-renew.
Is Hot 26 really 95 degrees?
Yes. The room is heated to 95°F with about 40% humidity for the full 90 minutes. We recommend skipping it your first week and starting with a regular class to get your bearings.
What about kids, partners, or coming with a friend?
Bring a friend — their first class is also free. We don't run kids' classes, but our 4 PM Saturday is family-friendly: babies in carriers welcome, no judgment if a toddler wanders through child's pose.
Can I park?
Free lot at the back of the building (entrance off Comal). Street parking on E. 7th is also free after 6 PM and on weekends. Bike rack at the front door.
What's the studio temperature for non-hot classes?
Vinyasa and Slow Flow are heated to 78°F — warm enough to soften, not hot enough to drip. Yin & Restorative is unheated. Sound Bath is unheated and dim.
