Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Effective May 30, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar browser-storage technologies workspacecms.ai may set when you visit the site, why each one is used, how long it persists, and how to change your choice at any time. It supplements (and does not replace) our Privacy Policy.

1. The short version

  • Before you click Accept, we set zero analytics or marketing cookies. Third-party tracking scripts (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) are not loaded at all — no request is sent to googletagmanager.com, connect.facebook.net, or any other tracker host. We block at the script level, not just the cookie level.
  • Only the cookies needed to remember your consent choice itself, and a small number of strictly-necessary first-party cookies, are set on a fresh visit.
  • You can change your choice at any time at workspacecms.ai/cookie-preferences, or by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store so the site can recognize you across page loads (for example, to keep you logged in, remember a preference, or count a unique visit). Modern browsers also support localStorage, sessionStorage, and similar mechanisms; we treat all of these the same way for consent purposes. The categories below cover every such mechanism, not just traditional HTTP cookies.

3. Categories of cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary (no consent required)

These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off in our preference UI because the site would not work without them. They store no marketing identifier and are never shared with a third party.

3.2 Analytics (loaded only after you click Accept)

Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and what is breaking — in aggregate. They are not used to advertise to you. These tags are not loaded at all unless cookie_consent_analytics is yes.

3.3 Marketing (loaded only after you click Accept)

Marketing cookies are used to measure ad campaign performance and to attribute conversions to the ad or referrer that drove a visit. These tags are not loaded at all unless cookie_consent_marketing is yes.

4. Tenant-configured trackers

WorkspaceCMS hosts customer (“tenant”) sites in addition to this marketing site. When a tenant configures their own GA4 / GTM / Meta Pixel / Google Ads identifiers in the dashboard, those tags load on their site under the exact same consent gate described above — never before the visitor clicks Accept. The tenant is the data controller for visitor data on their own site; this Cookie Policy covers workspacecms.ai itself. See our Privacy Policy for the processor/controller split.

5. Changing your choice

You can update your consent at any time:

  • Visit workspacecms.ai/cookie-preferences and tick the categories you want to allow.
  • Click the Cookie Settings link in the site footer.
  • Clear cookies for workspacecms.ai in your browser settings; the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.

Changing your choice takes effect on the next page load. If you revoke analytics or marketing consent, the corresponding scripts are removed from the DOM on subsequent page loads and stop firing immediately; cookies already written by those scripts can be cleared using your browser’s site-data controls (Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Cookies and other site data → See all site data → search workspacecms.ai).

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies for visitors from jurisdictions where GPC carries legal weight (currently California under CPRA). Browsers and extensions that send the Sec-GPC: 1 header will have analytics and marketing categories treated as “no” by default; you can still opt back in via /cookie-preferences if you want.
