How it works

Set it up once. It stays current on its own.

  1. Add your Place ID

Paste your business's Google Place ID into the Reviews page of your dashboard. There is a link to Google's Place ID finder right there. No Google sign-in needed.

  2. Pick what shows

Choose the minimum star rating and how many reviews appear, then press Sync now to pull your reviews in straight away.

  3. It keeps itself fresh

Your reviews sync from your Google listing every day, so new ones show up on your site without you lifting a finger.

Real reviews, real names

Why show Google reviews on your website?

People who land on your site are deciding whether to trust you. Reviews from real customers, pulled straight from Google with their names and photos, answer that question before they have to ask it.

Because they sync every day, the newest ones show up without anyone copying and pasting, and your reviews page links visitors to the full list on Google.

What you get

Everything you need to show and grow your Google reviews.

All of it lives on one Reviews page in your dashboard.

Always up to date

Synced from Google, every day.

  • Reviews come straight from your Google listing, with the reviewer's name, photo, star rating and words.
  • An automatic sync runs every day.
  • Press Sync now whenever you want an instant refresh.
  • Your dashboard shows when the last sync ran, and tells you in plain words if one fails.
Your site, your choices

Choose what appears on your website.

  • Set a minimum star rating for your site: 3 stars and up, 4 stars and up, or 5 stars only.
  • Choose how many reviews show, from 1 up to 50.
  • Turn the reviews off on your site with one switch, and back on any time.
  • These choices only change your website. Every review stays on your Google listing exactly as it is.
A real reviews page

A Google Reviews page on your site.

  • Your site gets its own reviews page once reviews are set up.
  • It shows your overall star rating and total review count, taken from Google's figures for your whole listing.
  • A link lets visitors read all of your reviews on Google.
  • A “Write a Google Review” button sends visitors straight to Google's review form for your business.
Get more Google reviews

Ask customers for a review by email.

  • Type a customer's name and email, add a personal note if you like, and send.
  • The email goes out under your business name and asks how their experience was.
  • One button takes them straight to Google's own review form for your listing.
  • Your dashboard keeps a list of your recent requests and whether each one was sent.

Your Google listing is never touched

WorkspaceCMS reads your reviews. It does not post, edit or remove anything on Google. Your display settings decide what appears on your own website, and your overall star rating and total review count always come from Google’s figures for your whole listing.

Get more Google reviews

The easiest way to get more reviews is to ask.

Send a customer a short email from your dashboard. The link in it opens Google’s review form for your business, so they do not have to go looking.

And on your reviews page, a “Write a Google Review” button does the same for anyone browsing your site.

FAQ

Google Reviews questions,
answered.

How do I show Google reviews on my website?

On Growth, Premium or Ultra, open Reviews in your WorkspaceCMS dashboard, paste your Google Place ID, choose your display settings and press Sync now. Your reviews then appear on your site and refresh from Google every day. There is no plugin to install and no separate widget subscription.

Do I need to sign in to Google or give you access to my Business Profile?

No. Reviews are pulled using your Place ID, which is public information about your listing. You do not hand over your Google login.

Will it show every Google review I have?

Not all at once. Google shares up to five of your reviews each time we sync, and every sync adds new ones to your collection, so it grows over time. The overall star rating and total review count on your reviews page come from Google's figures for your whole listing, not just the reviews on screen.

Can I hide or delete bad reviews?

Not on Google. We never post, edit or remove reviews on Google, and every review stays on your listing. On your own website you choose the minimum star rating shown and how many reviews appear, and your overall rating and total count still come from Google's figures for all of your reviews.

How does the review request email work?

You enter one customer's name and email, with an optional personal note, and send. They get an email under your business name with a button that opens Google's review form for your listing. It goes to whoever you choose. There is no step that screens customers by what they might say first.

Can it send review requests automatically, or by text message?

No. Review requests are emails you send one customer at a time from your dashboard. There are no automatic, bulk or text-message requests.

Does it show reviews from Yelp or Facebook?

No. It shows reviews from your Google listing only.

Which plans include it?

Growth, Premium and Ultra. It is not part of Essentials.
