AI RECEPTIONIST ADD-ON

Never miss another call.
AI answers for you.

When nobody can get to the phone, or after hours, an AI receptionist answers in your business's name. It answers questions, books appointments, takes messages, and emails you a summary of every call. It lives in the same dashboard as your website.

What it can do

A receptionist that never takes a day off.

  • Answers in your name

Greets callers as your business, says it is a virtual assistant, and answers questions about your services, hours and area from what you tell it.

  • Books appointments

Finds real open times on your WorkspaceCMS booking calendar and books the caller in. It only says a time is booked once the calendar confirms it.

  • Takes messages

Collects the caller's name, the best number to call back and what they need, and reads the number back to make sure it is right.

  • Covers after hours

At night and on weekends it tells callers the team is away, then offers to book a time on your calendar instead of sending them to voicemail.

  • Hands off to a person

When a caller asks for a person during your hours, it tells them and transfers the call to the number you choose.

  • Writes everything down

Every call is saved with a summary and the full transcript, and you get an email about each one.

How it works

Set up in an afternoon. Answering by tonight.

  1. 1

    Add it from your dashboard

Open Add-ons and click Add AI Receptionist. It comes with a phone number and 200 minutes a month, added to your WorkspaceCMS bill.

  2. 2

    Tell it about your business

Write a greeting and anything callers ask about. It already knows your website chat's answers, so it says the same things your site does.

  3. 3

    Choose when it answers

Every call, only calls nobody picks up, only after hours, or both. Set your business hours and how long your phone rings first.

  4. 4

Make a test call, then switch it on

Call from your own phone to hear it before any customer does. Test calls are free. When it sounds right, switch on Answer calls.

Your rules

You decide when it answers, and what it says.

Let your phone ring first and have the receptionist catch only what you miss, cover nights and weekends, or answer every call. Your business hours are read in your own time zone.

Write the greeting, the areas you serve, the prices you are happy to quote, and anything it should never promise. Changes take effect as soon as you save.

Every call, written down

Wake up to booked jobs, not voicemails.

Each call it answers shows up with the caller, how long it lasted, what happened, a summary and the full transcript. You get an email about every one, so a message never sits unheard.

Bookings land on the same calendar as your website’s online booking, and calls sit next to your form fills and chats in the Leads Inbox.

Under the hood

Built for owners. Specified for technical buyers.

A voice agent on a real phone network that works through a small set of tools, scoped to your business and nothing else. It cannot confirm a booking the calendar has not accepted, and it cannot run up a bill you did not see coming.

Tools it can call
take_message, find_open_times, book_appointment, transfer, hangup
Knowledge
Your website chat's knowledge base plus your own notes, the same facts your chat widget uses
Booking
Real open times from your WorkspaceCMS booking calendar. A booking is confirmed only when the calendar returns booked
Hours
Answer modes and business hours are evaluated in your business's own time zone. Ring first for 5 to 60 seconds
Guardrails
Discloses it is a virtual assistant, routes emergencies to 911, never invents prices or availability, ends robocalls
Limits
50 AI-answered calls a day, 3 per caller an hour, 15 minutes a call. Past a limit, calls ring through
After every call
Transcript stored, AI summary, owner emailed. Calls the callback misses are swept hourly, so none is left unreported
Billing
Two items on your WorkspaceCMS Stripe subscription: the flat monthly price and a metered overage price. Minutes are metered once, with idempotent events

FAQ

AI Receptionist questions,
answered.

What does the AI Receptionist cost?

$99/mo, with 200 AI-answered minutes and a phone number included each month. Minutes past that are $0.29 a minute. It is added to the same monthly WorkspaceCMS bill as your plan, to the card already on file.

Which plans can add it?

Growth, Premium and Ultra. It is a paid add-on on all three and is not available on Essentials. The account owner adds it from the Add-ons page or the AI Receptionist page in the dashboard.

Do callers know they are talking to AI?

Yes. It always says it is a virtual assistant and that the call may be recorded. If you write your own greeting without that, it adds the line for you.

Can I keep my existing business number?

Yes. The receptionist answers on the number that comes with it. To keep your existing number, set your phone to forward unanswered calls to it, and callers keep dialing the number they already know.

What happens after hours?

Set your business hours and choose an answer mode that covers after hours. At night and on weekends it tells callers the team is away, then offers to book them a time on your calendar or takes a message for the morning.

Will it make things up?

It is told to answer only from your business information and the notes you give it. It does not invent prices, availability or promises, does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and offers to take a message when it does not know. If a caller describes an emergency, it tells them to hang up and call 911.

Can a spam wave run up my bill?

No. It answers up to 50 calls a day and 3 from any one number an hour. Past that, calls ring your phone as normal, so a robocall burst cannot eat your minutes. Robocalls and sales pitches it does answer, it politely ends.

Do I need Call Tracking too?

No. The AI Receptionist comes with its own number. If you already use Call Tracking, the two work together, and receptionist calls show in the same call list.

How do I cancel?

The account owner cancels from the dashboard. It keeps answering until the end of the period you have already paid for.
