When someone fills in a form on your website, Lead Follow-up writes a reply to what they asked and sends it in your business's name. If you have not heard back, it follows up on day 2 and day 5. You approve every email before it is sent.

Maria asked on your contact form Do you install tankless water heaters? Could someone come out this week?

From: Joe's Plumbing · To: Maria

Hi Maria,

Thanks for getting in touch with Joe's Plumbing. Yes, we install tankless water heaters, and we can talk through which size suits your home.

We'll confirm a time this week once we have checked the schedule. Is there a day that works best for you?

Nothing is sent until you approve it.

What you get back

Every lead hears from you while they are still interested.

Lead Follow-up does the part that slips on a busy week: the first reply, and the polite nudge after it.

A fast, personal first reply

Someone who fills in your form gets an answer to what they actually asked, within minutes, while they are still thinking about you.

Your evenings back

No more writing the same first reply after a long day. The agent drafts it and you decide whether it goes.

A second and third nudge

If you have not marked the lead replied or booked, it sends a short follow-up on day 2 and again on day 5.

One email, not two

When Lead Follow-up is on, it takes the place of your form's basic auto-reply, so a lead never gets two emails from you.

How it works

Three steps, and the first one takes a minute.

  1. Turn it on

On the Agents page in your dashboard, confirm the sender name (your business name) and the email where replies should go. That is the whole setup.

  2. It writes the reply

Within minutes of a form fill, it writes a reply to what the person asked, using what your own website says about your business.

  3. You approve it

You get the draft in an approval email. Approve it and it goes out in your business's name. Replies land in your own inbox.

It knows when to stop

Follow-ups end the moment they should.

Nobody wants a reminder about a job that is already booked. The follow-ups on day 2 and day 5 only go out while the lead is still waiting to hear from you.

  • You mark the lead replied or booked. The button is in the run log and in every approval email.
  • The lead unsubscribes. Every follow-up carries a one-line unsubscribe link.
  • The lead fills in your form again.
  1. Day 0

Reply sent to Maria a few minutes after her form.

  2. Day 2

No answer yet, so a short follow-up goes out.

  3. Day 3

    Maria replies: “Thursday morning works.”

  4. Day 5

Second follow-up cancelled. She already replied.

You stay in charge

You approve before anything is sent.

An agent writes the email. You decide whether it goes. Nothing reaches a customer until you say so, unless you choose to let that agent send on its own.

  • Ask me first is the setting every agent starts on. Each email waits in an approval email to you, and goes only when you approve it.
  • Prefer hands off? Switch that agent to Send automatically. You can switch back at any time.
  • Set a monthly AI credit cap. When the agent reaches it, it pauses and tells you.
  • The run log lists every run and what it cost. A results line on the card shows how the month is going.
  • It writes from your own website. It never invents prices, availability or promises, and it says we'll confirm when it is not sure.
Pricing

Priced per email in AI credits, shown before you turn it on.

Each email an agent writes uses AI credits from your workspace's existing balance. The agent's card shows the cost per email before you switch it on, and you set a monthly cap so it can never use more than you planned.

FAQ

Lead Follow-up,
answered.

Who does the email come from?

Your business name, for example Joe's Plumbing, sent from our sending address. When the lead replies, the reply goes straight to the email you chose when you turned the agent on, so the conversation continues in your own inbox.

Will it make things up?

No. It writes from what your website says about your business. It does not invent prices, availability or promises, and when it is not sure of something it says we'll confirm, so you can answer that part yourself.

Do I have to approve every email?

Only if you want to, and that is how it starts. Ask me first is the default, and each follow-up asks too. Switch to Send automatically when you are happy with what it writes.

When does it stop following up?

When you mark the lead replied or booked, when the lead unsubscribes, or when the lead fills in your form again. Without any of those, it sends one follow-up on day 2 and one on day 5.

Will my leads get two emails, the auto-reply and this one?

No. While Lead Follow-up is on, it replaces your form's basic auto-reply.

How much does it cost?

Priced per email in AI credits, shown before you turn it on. Each email uses AI credits from your workspace's existing balance. You set a monthly cap, and when the agent reaches it, it pauses and tells you. The run log shows what every run cost.

Does it text my leads?

No. Lead Follow-up sends email only.

What do I need to connect?

Nothing. It works with the forms already on your WorkspaceCMS website. Turning it on is one pop-up: your sender name and your reply-to email.
