In your dashboard open Agents, then Product Page Writer, pick a product and press Write a better page.
Read, edit, update
Change what you like, then press Update my store. Repeat for the next product.

Create an API account
In your BigCommerce admin go to Settings, then Store-level API accounts, then Create API account.
Set one permission
Name it 1Digital Connect. Set Products to modify and leave everything else at none.
Save it
BigCommerce shows the API path and Access token once. Keep that window open.
Paste and check
In the wizard choose BigCommerce, paste both, and press Check and connect.

Why an API account instead of an app?
It is the simplest way for a single store to give limited access, and you can delete it any time.
Why Products set to modify?
That is the one permission needed to update a description, SEO fields and alt text. Leave everything else at none.
Does the token expire?
No. It works until you delete the API account in BigCommerce or disconnect in your dashboard.
Does it work with multiple storefronts?
It updates the product record, which every storefront on that store shares.
Can it change a product without me?
No. Every update starts with you pressing Update my store.
Will this raise my sales or rankings?
We do not promise that. Clearer pages help shoppers and search engines understand a product, but results depend on many things outside the page.
