Checkout, payments, shipping, taxes, customer accounts and order history stay in Shopify or BigCommerce, so nothing is migrated and the store's theme is not changed. Other platforms are eCommerce Enterprise.

Do I have to move my products to WorkspaceCMS?
No. Your catalog, customers and orders stay in Shopify or BigCommerce, and the storefront reads them from there.
Does WorkspaceCMS work with Magento, WooCommerce or a custom platform?
Not on the self-serve plans, which are Shopify and BigCommerce only. Other platforms are eCommerce Enterprise, from $1,999 a month and quoted after a call.
Will my Shopify or BigCommerce apps keep working?
Yes. Subscriptions, marketplaces, order emails and ERP or CRM syncs keep running in your store, because the storefront does not replace it.
Is this a headless storefront?
Yes, in practice. Your store runs the commerce back end and the WorkspaceCMS storefront is the front end shoppers see, with our team designing and managing it for you.
Where do shoppers check out?
On your Shopify or BigCommerce checkout, with your payment methods, shipping rates and taxes, exactly as today.
How quickly do price and stock changes show?
The storefront reads your catalog live, so changes you make in your store show on the storefront without anyone re-entering them.
What does WorkspaceCMS need access to?
Read access to your catalog so the storefront can show products, collections, prices and stock. Order access is optional and off unless you turn it on.
What happens to my current theme?
Nothing. It stays in your store as it is. The storefront is a separate site on WorkspaceCMS.
Does it work with Shopify Plus or BigCommerce Enterprise?
Yes. Larger Shopify Plus and BigCommerce Enterprise stores usually start on Scale, and their checkout, price lists and platform features stay in the store admin.
Who runs the store day to day?
You do, in your Shopify or BigCommerce admin. WorkspaceCMS designs, hosts and manages the storefront in front of it.
Do Shopify or BigCommerce fees come out of my plan?
No. Your platform subscription, apps and payment-processing fees are billed by those providers and paid by you.
